Set GMail as default mail client application on any browser
With a simple registry change you can set GMail as default mail handler on a browser of your choice.
These instructions apply only to those who have a Microsoft operating system:)
Open the Registry Editor regedit writing on the bar, make / find.
Within the log in the left panel, bring on the path HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \\ mailto \\ shell \\ open \\ command .
On the right panel you will find a key of type REG_SZ called (Default)
Double-click the key you can edit the content.
Depending on the browser you want to use to choose the input string among those below (highlighted in bold ):
INTERNET EXPLORER
"C: \\ Program Files (x86) \\ Internet Explorer \\ iexplore.exe" https: / / mail.google.com / mail? extsrc = mailto & url = 1%
MOZILLA FIREFOX
"C: \\ Program Files (x86) \\ Mozilla Firefox \\ firefox.exe" https: / / mail.google.com / mail? extsrc = mailto & url =% 1
OPERA
"C: \\ Program Files (x86) \\ Opera \\ Opera.exe" https: / / mail.google.com / mail? extsrc = mailto & url =% 1
CHROME
"C: \\ Users \\ username \\ AppData \\ Local \\ Google \\ Chrome \\ Application \\ chrome.exe "- app = https: / / mail.google.com / mail? extsrc = mailto & url =% 1
SRWare Iron (CHROMIUM-BROWSER)
"C: \\ Program Files (x86) \\ SRWare Iron \\ iron.exe" - app = https: / / mail.google.com / mail? Extsrc = mailto & url =% 1
Once you have copied and pasted the string you want, and click OK and you're done!
for Chrome and Iron need to replace username with your username (Windows).
For those who have an operating system 32-bit strings above should be modified slightly: Program Files (x86) Program Files becomes .
This procedure can be extended to other browsers (like Safari ...) and alternative to other online services GMail, if you have problems or suggestions feel free to leave a comment and I will answer as soon as possible.

Soul Silver Migration
Bind to a specific connection
If you have the ability to connect to two or more separate Internet connections (such as an Ethernet and a wireless, or two different wireless), you'll notice that Windows allows you to use one connection at a time ( the one with highest priority) which makes it impossible to fully exploit your resources.
For example, you could dedicate a connection to the other peer to peer connection to everything else. Thank
ForceBindIP finally this will be possible, and following these steps will also be relatively simple.
Background.
For two concurrent connections are needed 2 cards (such as an Ethernet and a wireless, or 2 wireless).
Before performing these steps need to be connected to both connections.
An Ethernet connection has priority over a wireless, so if you do not change the priority with these steps, you can associate one or more applications to wireless and the ethernet connection will always remain the main one, namely that which will be combined with any other applications .
To change the priority (for example, if you want to use wireless as primary connection as a dedicated connection and ethernet) dovete andare su Connessioni di rete -> Avanzate* -> Impostazioni avanzate, e cliccando sulle freccie potete alterare la priorità.
* per far comparire su Windows Vista/7 il menu Avanzate dovete premere il tasto Alt.
Passo 0: scaricate ForceBindIP-1.2a.zip ed estraetelo nella cartella C:\Windows\System32
Passo 1: aprite il prompt dei comandi digitando cmd sulla barra cerca/esegui;
Passo 2: nel prompt dei comandi digitate ipconfig e poi premete Enter;
Passo 3: prendete nota dell' Indirizzo IP* associato alla scheda che volete dedicare;
Passo 4: nel prompt dei comandi digitate forcebindip -i [Indirizzo IP*] [percorso applicazione] e premete Enter.
* IPv4 su Windows Vista/7
Esempio: forcebindip -i 192.168.1.2 "C:\Program Files\eMule\emule.exe"
Per ricavare il [percorso applicazione] individuate il link all'applicazione desiderata, su di esso cliccate sul tasto destro del mouse e poi su Proprietà, il [percorso applicazione] è quello contenuto nella casella Destinazione, potete copiarlo e incollarlo sul prompt dei comandi (usando il mouse, the keyboard does not work).
In this way your application will use the connection you've chosen!
If anything is unclear please do not hesitate to contact me via the comments.
thanks due to my source.
